This spring, TAC hosted the fifth TEDxTarsusAmericanCollege, bringing home the well-recognized platform for sharing inspiring ideas. The TEDx, which is an independently organized form of the internationally acclaimed TED talks which has been receiving international acclaim with its slogan “Ideas Worth Spreading”, was held in Talas Auditorium. This year’s event centered around the theme “The Unseen Path”. This focus on the hardly visible aspects of life, the experiences that often go unnoticed at the time yet deeply impacting individuals and their course of life, provided participants a space for intellectual exploration.

The event run by Asu Hayat A. (11 IB) and Bora C. (12 IB) under the guidance of Ms. Özlem Özdemir, their club advisor, was a successful example of student agency. During the event, six speakers took the stage talking about significant accomplishments in their career journeys.
