TAC hosted Behzat Taş, a cartoonist, who talked with 9th graders on the phonetic meaning of caricature, its historical development in Türkiye and the world. Emphasizing that caricature is not only a tool for humor, but also an effective way of expressing political, social, and economic perspectives, Taş informed students about the magazines that have led the cartoon culture in Türkiye and the world. It was also a hands-on session where our students produced their own cartoons, shared them with the artist, and received one-to-one feedback.

We would like to thank the Social Sciences Department for bringing Behzat Taş to TAC.
