National 5th Place at the Seyfi Alanya Track and Field Throwing Championship
The Seyfi Alanya Throwing Championship was held in Mersin on February 23-24. Prep student Azra G. placed fifth in U16 Girls Shot Put category with a score of 10.03.
Azra missed placing in the top 4 by a hair’s breadth among the 14 participants and succeeded in outperforming other strong female athletes in this category. At the competition, Azra improved upon her previous result by throwing 15 cm.
